Categories of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be divided into different categories based on its capabilities and functions. The main categories are Narrow AI, General AI, and Super AI. Narrow AI is designed to perform specific tasks such as voice assistants, recommendation systems, and chatbots, and it is the most commonly used form of AI today. General AI refers to machines that can think, learn, and perform any intellectual task similar to humans, though it is still under development. Super AI is a theoretical concept where AI surpasses human intelligence in every aspect, including creativity and decision-making. AI can also be categorized based on functionality into Reactive Machines, Limited Memory AI, Theory of Mind AI, and Self-aware AI, each representing different levels of intelligence and learning capability.
